As Rockstar Games was preparing for their 25th anniversary, they planned to release the first trailer of “Grand Theft Auto VI” on December 5th at 3 PM. However, the trailer leaked before its official release. Earlier leaks had shown snippets of one of the game’s cities. The company suffered a setback due to a hacking attack, and the leak was confirmed by Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming.

Location and Characters

The game will take players to a contemporary setting in Vice City. The main characters are Lucia and Jason, siblings with a common goal of avenging their parents’ death at the hands of a drug cartel. Lucia is immersed in the underworld of drugs, while Jason joins an anti-narcotics agency. The game offers a romance option, and the storyline will also take us to locations like Brazil, Cuba, and Mexico.

Campaign Length and New Features

The GTA VI campaign is expected to last around 80–100 hours, with a map several times larger than GTA V. Jeffrey Crawford Jones, known as Lazlow, will appear in a new role following the end of his collaboration with Rockstar Games.
